OneDrive iOS app recently was updated to where it started uploading your iOS camera roll pictures in the Apple’s high efficiency .HEIC format and not the JPEG format.

This will cause a problem when you try to view these images on Windows PCs, such as using Office products for pictures, examples would be inserting a picture in Word or in PowerPoint.

They made that move to preserve memory (smaller file size) yet keep the same quality.

If you are like me, you don’t like this change. You can simply fix it this way.

Go to your iPhone setting. Setting > Camera > Formats > and change from high efficiency to most compatible. Screen captures below.
