The recently popular word game Wordle, it’s a logic word game that takes us back to our childhood game Mastermind. In Mastermind, we have to guess colors and their positions using multiple attempts. In Wordle, it’s the same idea, only this time we are guessing letters and their positions. This is a genius idea of a logic game and no wonder why it has gotten viral nowadays.
Wordle, which offers only one puzzle per day, to keep fans hooked, as friends and family will have to guess the same word everyday. It has gathered the attention of Millions of users since it was created in October of 2021.
In Mastermind, we were using the color black to indicate that the guessed color is correct and is in the correct position, while white indicated that the guessed color is correct but not in the correct position. Similarly, in Wordle, your guessed letter will turn Green if it is the correct letter and in the right position and will turn Yellow/Amber if it’s the correct letter but not in the right position. Letters will turn Gray if they are incorrect.
